The World Is Quiet Now · every other Wednesday
Lina · A Whole Little Sky
A little ship that creaks like a boat, a map that grows by one place at a time. Bedtime voyages for ages 3–6.

Lina lives on a small ship, far from home.
Her friend Nyuni speaks in light and sound.
Every voyage, Lina finds one new thing,
watches it for a long time,
and draws one more place on her map.
Then she hums her song, and the little ship sails on.
Who is Lina? · 30 seconds
She took her time becoming Lina.
And now she has a song of her own.
No words, only Lina's humming: how she slowly became Lina, and the first time you hear her voice.
Lina's voyages
One more place on the map
A voice, a story, and a small song Lina hums to herself. No books yet; they will come.
Lina doesn't follow a map. She makes one.
Lina's map
Every place from her voyages, drawn by her own hand. And three empty spots where a child can draw a place of their own, with a finger.
Lina's song
A Whole Little Sky
Lina hums it to herself while she draws her map. It opens every voyage, and the little ship sails on to it.
This way, that way,
Where shall we go?
Past the moon,
Where the starlight glows.
Up and over,
Round we fly,
I'm drawing little roads
Across the sky!
Look what I made!
Look what I see!
A whole little sky
Looking back at me.
A turn to the left,
A curve to the right,
My map is growing
One star at a time!
La-la-la, here we go,
There's so much we don't know!
La-la-la, follow me,
There's so much more to see!
Words by Tahi Nia-Ra.
The little ship sailed on.
Good night, Lina.
